Next to nothing is known about these shoes. Back when I had The Perfect Pointe, a kind lady wrote in to share a photo of these shoes and the name. Here is the photo and description.

"These ballet toes shoes are old.  I think it says SELON inside the shoe with a silhoette of ballerina.  They have satin tops(the shoe part) with satin ribbons to tie up the legs.  The bottoms are leather tan color and the hard toe is leather the same color as the satin.  One of the shoes looks like something chewed on the front of the shoes where the toe and leather sole meet.  They are worn from use but they are still intact and are vintage.  They are more than 50 years old because when I was little I took tap dancing lessons and these were in a closet and I use to admire them and wanted to take ballet but never did."
