Tempo

They were located in Chicago IL and were made and designed by the Professional Shoe Corporation.

Tempo Toe Shoes offered a “V” instep to grip the foot, “like a friendly hand.” Since Landi had done it and Russian style pointe shoes all had v-shaped vamps in the early days, this was nothing original.
There are supposed to be ads as early as 1925 showing pointe shoes with the arch hugging design.
