Nadine Revene invented the Soloist pointe shoe. It was one of the first man-made materials pointe shoes. The shoe did not take hold on the market. So, then Baryshnikov entered the mix. They put his name on them to try to make them popular, but that failed as well. There is a separate Baryshnikov page because the marketing, stamp, and name are different, but the shoes are the same.
